This July, I will be taking part in the Big Hospital Walk from Huddersfield Royal Infirmary to Calderdale Royal Hospital to help raise funds for the Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Charity.

Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Charity is the official charity of Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust. We are here to make an amazing difference for everyone who comes into contact with CHFT as a patient, visitor, or member of staff.

We are dedicated to supporting our two hospitals and communities, bringing a ray of sunshine and enhanced patient and family experience. We do this through fundraising, volunteering and working with CHFT staff to develop the most impactful projects.

Projects can range from enhanced equipment and resources, bereavement resources or distraction technology. This could also be transforming the clinical hospital and care environment into a welcoming and homely place to be.

We could not do any of this without our amazing community of supporters, who have helped to fund, and continue to fund the most impactful projects for people across our community.
