About
Building friendships and confidence:
For young people living with diabetes, the journey can be overwhelming and lonely. That’s why our children’s diabetes team organises essential peer-to-peer events and activities that bring children and teenagers together. These gatherings are more than just social outings, they provide a safe space to share experiences, ask questions and build lasting friendships.
With your support, we can continue to fund these vital activities, from educational workshops and group sessions to fun days out and creative projects. These experiences help young patients learn more about managing their condition, boost their confidence and remind them they’re not alone on this journey. Together, we can empower our young people to thrive, develop resilience and live life to the fullest.
