The Mayor of Kirklees for 2023-2024, Councillor Cahal Burke, has chosen Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Charity and the Royal Air Forces Association Huddersfield (RAFA) as the Mayors Charity 2023/24. 

Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Charity is the offical charity of Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust. Together with the help of our supporters, we raise funds to enhance patient experience.

The Royal Air Forces Association Huddersfield aim is to provide a meeting point for all those in the Huddersfield area who share in their commitments to preserve the memory of former RAF personnel and to organise the collection and disposal of funds for the welfare support of the greater RAF family.

Throughout the year the Mayor of Kirklees, Councillor Cahal Burke, will be supporting both charities with a number of events and we hope our local community can learn more about the vital work both chairites do and how you can support us.
